Virginia M. Woolf Foundation

Virginia M. Woolf (1938-99) was born and raised in
South Dakota, and lived in New Jersey and
California. Though her life was cut short by illness,
she had a record of civic activity and involvement
we would do well to emulate.

The foundation in her memory strives to help others
as she tried to do. At present it is devoting its
resources to making Large Print Books available for the vision impaired and blind by the use of large type
fonts that make reading easier or possible.

 

The Virginia M. Woolf Foundation is a nonprofit, tax-exempt, California corporation.
