Kindle Compatible E-Books

We now have over 50 books available for use on the Kindle. They are all in our Extra Large Print format. That means they are specially prepared for people who have trouble reading ordinary size print. The largest print on the Kindle is ordinarily equivalent to 16 point type. Our special formatting increases the possible type size to the equivalent of 20 point type. Of course, you can reduce the type size. If you don't want very large type, you have that option.

Our status as a non-profit helping the visually impaired allows us to provide copyrighted works, but we have had problems with Amazon over this. For that reason we have developed a way to make our Extra Large Print books compatible with the Kindle but available without the need to purchase them in the Kindle store. As a result we have reduced our price for each book.

We continue to offer all our books in the Extra Large Print PDF format, so be sure when you download a book for the Kindle, you select a book that says Kindle compatible in the title.
